cancellation, return & refund policy

last updated September 21, 2026

This policy covers paid Loadouts plans (Plus and Pro). Loadouts is a digital service: there is nothing to ship and nothing to send back, so "returns" below means cancelling and, where eligible, getting your money back.

Cancelling your subscription

  • Paid plans are monthly subscriptions that renew automatically until you cancel.
  • You can cancel at any time yourself: open the Billing page in your dashboard and choose manage subscription. No email or approval is needed.
  • Cancelling stops the next renewal. You keep your plan until the end of the period you've already paid for, then your account returns to the Free plan.
  • To avoid being charged for the next month, cancel before your renewal date (shown on the Billing page).

What happens to your accounts

Cancelling never deletes your linked accounts or their synced data. On the Free plan you keep up to 15 slots. If you have more accounts than that, they stay in your dashboard but syncing is paused until you're back under the limit or upgrade again. Features that belong to a paid plan (such as public profiles and the leaderboard) switch off, and switch back on if you re-subscribe. Share links keep working on every plan.

Refunds

Because your plan is available to use as soon as payment goes through, payments are generally non-refundable once a billing period has started, and we don't offer partial refunds for the unused part of a month after you cancel.

We're happy to refund in these cases:

  • You were charged twice, or charged after you had already cancelled.
  • You were charged in error, or the amount was wrong.
  • A problem on our side stopped you from using the plan you paid for, and we couldn't fix it in reasonable time.

To ask for a refund, contact us through the contact page within 14 days of the charge, with the email on your account and the date of the payment. We review every request and reply by email.

How refunds are paid

Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, our payment processor. Your bank or card issuer usually shows the money within 5 to 10 business days.

Failed payments

If a renewal payment fails, adding and syncing accounts may be paused until you update your payment method in manage subscription. If it still can't be collected, the subscription ends and your account returns to the Free plan.

Your legal rights

Nothing in this policy limits any rights you have under the consumer protection laws where you live.

Disputes

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; we can usually sort it out faster. See also our terms of service.
